[2243] 93 – (969) It was narrated that abū al-Hayāj al-Asadī said:

‘Alī bin abī Tālib said to me:

“Shall I not send you on the same mission as the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم sent me (saying):

‘That you do not leave any statue without destroying it, nor any raised grave without leveling it,…[2244] nor any image without erasing it.’”

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan hafidhahullah zei dat bidden richting tasweer verboden is, maar wanneer de tasweer (afbeeldingen) zich ergens anders bevind dan maakt dit het gebed niet ongeldig.

69 Chapter The presence of spearman (with their spears) in the mosque —

454. Narrated ‘Āisha رضي الله عنها : Once I saw Allāh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم at the door of my house while some Ethiopians were playing in the mosque (displaying their skill with spears). Allāh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه سلم was screening me with his Ridā-e to enable me seeing their display. —

(115) Chapter The looking of a woman at the Ethiopians and the like if it does not lead to bad consequences

5236 Narrated ‘Āishah رضي الله عنها : The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was screening me with his Ridā-e (garment covering the upper part of the body) while I was looking at the Ethiopians who were playing in the courtyard of the mosque. (I continued watching) till I was satisfied. Therefore deduce from this how a young girl (who has not reached the age of puberty) who is eager to enjoy amusement, should be dealt with in this situation. (See H. 454) —
